Upcoming Events: • Next Exit Film Festival - For this event, we select noteworthy independent films and exhibit them over the course of several days. Coming August 2010. Past Events: The NJFA is proud to announce the winners of the 140 Second Film FestivalBest of Fest - "Smooch" by John Cafaro Next Best of Fest - "One Hundred and Forty" by Alex Winchell & Katie Poti • NJFA Young Talent Film Festival at Surf Taco • Trailer Trash: A Celebration of the Movie Preview------------------------------Friday - September 18 at the Showroom, Asbury Park: This event promises to be a fun, unique and irreverent experience that highlights the lowlights of what is often the best part of going to the movies - the trailers. We’ve scoured the earth looking for some of the weirdes, wackiest and wildest trailers that we can’t believe actually exist. The NJFA presents the local comedy troupe, Helicopter Dance Off who will guide the audience through a one-of-a-kind evening through the wonderful world of movie trailers. • 140 Second Film Festival Inspired by Twitter’s creative brevity, the New Jersey Film Alliance presents the 140 Second Film Festival. Tell a story but make it quick. Keep it under 140 seconds. As a part of the AsburyPop convention, 140Second Film Festival will be offered this year for FREE. We’ll choose the best one’s and screen them in November in Asbury Park, NJ. It’ll be a night of fun, film and some special awards. • As part of the NJFA mission, we are co-producing the short student film, "Bells" by Emerson University students under their production company, Coveted Entertainment. |
